Curt Young is an international entertainer, singer/songwriter, grass dancer, filmmaker and actor from the Cowessess First Nation in Saskatchewan. Curt’s music embraces storytelling as a teaching tool to unite people and captivate audiences. He keeps tradition alive with his porcupine quill jewellery designs, and his films have documented history and the current times on his reserve. Using traditional and modern styles of music and dance to share his life experiences and culture with various audiences, Curt's topics include Bullying, Womens Rights, Empowerment, Equality, Youth Leadership, Role Modeling, Believing in You and Self-esteem. He also puts on a captivating and exciting show of blues that will have you up on your feet!
