Brandon Smith or "Brando" as everyone likes to call him has been playing gigs professionally as a keys man since age 14.  Alberta born and now a Airdrie resident after living all over Canada, he has always chosen to make music his living.  He is a regular member of Calgary area groups such as the Syndicate of Soul and Mocking Shadows as well as his own project Lost Decade.  He has backed up many artists including blues legends Donald Ray Johnson, Russell Jackson, Big Llou Johnson and Russ Green. His passion is for all things musical and tech related as well as the repair and upkeep of musical instruments - in fact he is currently employed as an apprentice at a local organ and keyboard service centre.  Brandon also works as a freelance composer and engineer at his basement headquarters he likes to call Busted Keys music.
