Sherry Kennedy based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada is an internationally acclaimed song writer, recording artist, live performer, vocal coach, visual artist, actor and humanitarian whose career has spanned more than 20 years and nine CD releases. Kennedy has enjoyed success touring and charting on multiple continents that include Australia, France, Italy, Spain, New Zealand, Belgium, Holland Germany, Norway, England, the U.S. and Japan, that have seen her garner broadcast radio air play and media coverage in more than 15 countries.
Sherry's stunning voice, dynamic stage presence and vocal discipline in the Jazz, Blues, R&B and Country genres have won her many accolades that include performances for: Calvin Klein, Air Canada, CP Hotels International, the Ottawa Tulip Festival, World Police Fire Games, Casino de Hull, Empress Theatre, the Edmonton Klondike Days "Official Klondike Kate", the National Business Women's Conference and the Western Canadian Premiers Conference.
Kennedy's diversity is apparent in the variety of live shows she delivers, from duos and combos to large ensembles, musical theatre and big bands.

Sherry Kennedy writes and produces corporate and dinner theatre musical show productions that have been enjoyed by thousands of people nationally.
Kennedy's 2012 album release Little Secret, recorded in Nashville, is produced by Mark Moseley (Trisha Yearwood, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson). The album production includes a stellar band of session musicians including multiple award winner and Grammy winning Brent Mason on electric guitar and five time Grammy winner Gordon Mote on piano. The first single from the release titled "Think Of Me" is receiving air play across Canada in 20 plus markets on "commercial country radio" and the song "Here After" was named single of the month in Denmark. The second single from "Little Secret" entitled "Don't Touch Me Please," features a music video directed by Las Vegas-based video producer Brandon Christensen.
Her songs have found success time and time again, including the songs "Rockies in the Rain", #1 on the European Country Music Association charts and "My My My" hitting #4 respectively for more than 40 weeks. The "Ordinary Woman" release was chosen in the ECMA top 100 albums of the year. "Reflections of Christmas" was chosen favourite Christmas release in Belgium.
The song "Kissing My Worries Goodbye" garnered rotation continuously on the Country Music Charts for more than 20 weeks and received a song writing achievement award from the MIAOTW (Major Independent Artists of the World). Two music videos featuring the songs "She'll Give You Something" and "Going Through The Motions" were broadcast on Country Music Television (CMT) and in European radio and television markets.
Sherry created the "Healing Art of Music Foundation (Calgary)" (HAMF), to provide financial assistance to individuals who wish to further their development in music and the arts. Funds are raised through sales of her paintings and from public and corporate donations. "Irene Sommerville, who was born with Rieger's Syndrome, is the first recipient of the HAMF bursary. The "Time and Talent" event organized by Kennedy, which led to the creation of her foundation, featured 40 different musicians and four hours of music, which resulted in the raising of 12 thousand dollars, for the Canadian Cancer Society. Kennedy has dedicated countless hours fund raising for The Canadian Cancer Society, Elizabeth Fry Society, Inn from the Cold, Veteran's Food Bank and Golf a Kid to Camp, to name a few.
While performing as an actor, Sherry has moved audiences with her mesmerizing performances in productions that include theatre performances in Fiddler on the Roof, Ann of Green Gables, The Fantastiks, Godspell; and television/film appearances in the movies Rat Race and Honey I Shrunk the Kids; and television appearances that include: Co-host for the Global TV documentary "Water: The Ripple Effect". Kennedy has also shone in TV commercials for the CBS Olympics, Petro Canada, Ford Motor Company and Shell Canada.
