Dan Sinasac is a singer/songwriter with a passion for soulful, funky rhythm and blues. Growing up across the river from Detroit, his musical stylings were influenced by the sounds churning out of the motor city. A master on the Hammond B3 Organ, Dan's ability to connect with his audience has made him a favourite on the Edmonton music scene.
Dan's debut recording, Burnt Piano, features original songs and has now been mastered digitally. His second release,Goin' Back, has garnered several outstanding reviews and as well is receiving airplay in Canada and the U.S. and several European countries. His latest, the double disk Street Corner History represents a lifetime of original material, both electric and acoustic. The album won the Edmonton Blues Society's "Best Self Produced CD" in 2015 and represented Edmonton at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis.
Dan is also a recording studio owner and engineer. His DanLyn studios came about through his passion for music, and has become renowned by musicians across the country. Dan designed, built and equipped the facility, which is attached to the back of his log home on 3.25 acres just east of Edmonton, Alberta. Among the greats that have recorded there are: PJ Perry, Jack Semple, Crystal Plamondon, Elsie Osborne, David Vest and many more.
