Lighthouse

Already a legend among serious guitarists by the 1960s, Matt "Guitar" Murphy, is famed for his incredibly fast and intricate blues riffs. He's performed with a long list of giants including Robert Lockwood Jr., Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, Little Junior Parker, Ike Turner, Memphis Slim, James Cotton, Otis Rush, Etta James, Sonny Boy Williamson II, Chuck Berry, and Joe Louis Walker, to name a few, and appeared in the films The Blues Brothers and The Blues Brothers 2000. For this performance, Matt "Guitar" Murphy will be performing with our very own Bill Dowey & the Blues Devils.

Among her many credits, Thornetta has opened for legends Ray Charles, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, Etta James, Buddy Guy, Koko Taylor, Junior Wells, Lonnie Brooks, Johnnie Johnson, and Bonnie Raitt, and sang backup vocals for Bob Seger.

Terry Hanck Band

Singer, songwriter, bandleader and saxophone great Terry Hanck is no stranger to the scene. With a long and illustrious career behind him, his sound fuses various soul, blues, ballads and bugaloo. Hanck has shared the stage with a long list of R&B and blues greats, including spending ten years in Elvin Bishop's band. He won two nominations for the 2012 Blues Music Awards for 'Best Horn' and 'Best Song of the Year'.

Toronto blues harpist David Rotundo is considered one of Canada's leading bluesmen. The definition of Guitar Hero might not look compatible with Enrico Crivellaro's unassuming nature and with his genuine and humble devotion to music, but it definitely serves to perfectly photograph the status of a guitarist who has earned international fame, and who is considered to be one of the most influential of his generation, thanks to a style that bridges Blues with Jazz and American Roots Music.
