Singing the Blues Vocal Camp
Workshop

The annual Singing the Blues Vocal Camp is a two-part workshop for local blues singers of all skill levels.
Vocal Camp participants will take a master class from a professional vocalist to learn about stage presence, mic technique, and how to interact with musicians.

A panel formed by industry professionals will offer constructive advice for singers.
The Blues Can is an all ages venue so bring the whole family and cheer the singers on!

Calgary Blues Music Association (CBMA) is committed to fostering, preserving and furthering blues music and musicians, as well as presenting some of the finest blues to be found anywhere on the planet.
Based on the public vote results, CBMA will honour local and regional artists who have dedicated their careers to blues music during the 5th annual CBMA Blues Hall of Fame Awards ceremony.
The annual Midwinter Bluesfest Twilight Blues Jam will be hosted by Casat, Knowles, Wills & Chalmers. Bring your axe and perform with some of the finest musicians in the city!
